The monthly social mountain bike ride is usually held on the 3rd Sunday of the month and is led by a group of our fantastic volunteers and coaches. Whatever the weather, rain or shine, it’s a great way to start your Sunday, so if you’ve never ridden with us before, please do join us – bring your family, bring your friends, bring your mountain bikes! Even if it’s your first time on a mountain bike, do come along – the trails are fantastic fun, you’ll never be pushed to do more than you are able, and you won’t regret it! Be sure to check out the Rider Reports section of the Club News Hub for the latest reports and experiences from the Swinley Rides!

Meet at The Lookout Centre at 9.30am for a 10am start (and half an hour earlier during the summer months) – we advise arriving early to ensure you get a parking spot as it gets very busy! If you need directions or have any questions, email us and we’d be happy to help.

Are Parents/ Guardians Required To Attend/Ride?
Yes. While Slipstreamers Volunteers will be in attendance, this is not a coaching session and due to the nature of the technical terrain around Swinley Forest, at least 1 parent/ guardian must also ride on the trails as you will be responsible for your child. This is a social ride so you will also need to ensure you pack and carry your own spares and tools. Helmet and gloves are mandatory for all participants.
