A Slipstreamers Call for Volunteers
You may have seen recently that we are working on the organisation of Monday Night Youth Racing this summer. As with anything that we arrange , it is run entirely by volunteers. To make this work, Slipstreamers is always on the lookout for new officials to cover the judging tasks. This year we are looking to expand our Commissaire capability to ensure we have enough resources to cover the events. With British Cycling we are looking to arrange some free Commissaire Courses for volunteers to attend. In return, we expect that we may be able to put you on our list of resources to help run events.
British Cycling relies on a workforce of officials who ensure that all events in the six British Cycling disciplines are conducted in a fair manner. With thousands of cycling events every year there is something for everyone. The events range from local grass roots events such as Go-Ride Racing right up to commissairing at the Olympics.
